THURSDAYS
*Creation Station*
10am-5pm
When a child first tears apart a piece of paper, they discover how one piece
of something becomes many. When they brush a gob of paint on paper, they find out how
to soak the paper with wet paint & when they dip their brush into another color they can
see
how mixing two colors together can make a whole new color. At the end of an art
session, what looks like a mess to the casual observer is really evidence of a rewarding learning experience. Children use their hands to investigate & discover. Art
activites are
a powerful means of enriching cognitive & physical development as well as self discovery.
That is exactly what we want to encourage at our Creation Staion Art Days. We will provide
a
variety of art mediums & a fun atmosphere to help your child's imagination run wild.
